Note on Seasonal Availability

Just as in farming, wild edibles have their own natural seasons, thus fruiting and availability for fresh product will vary based on the weather and natural biodiversity issues. While not every product is always available, there is always a wonderfully colorful and healthy array over the course of the year.

Additionally, available year-round we have our highly sought after Wild Mountain Berry Jams and Syrups, Elderberry and RosehipStinging Nettle and Mint tea mixes, a wide variety of frozen and dried mushrooms, honey, naturally preserved foods, pure mushroom seasoning powders.

Our dried natural products are packed with powerful zest and flavor, perfect for everyday use!  Traditionally our ancestors knew the benefits of using dried products from remedies, dying wool to culinary -  making a perfect sauce.

Naturally preserved huckleberries & elderberries are terrific for a wide range of uses. They can be used in your favorite recipes, with hot or cold cereals, and make colorful and healthy teas. Dried elderberries are also used for wine making, extracts, syrups, natural dyes or flavoring.
Additionally, the Stinging Nettle, Lemon Balm and Rose hips are available dried for use in teas, tinctures and extracts.

Wild Greens & Edible Plant Foods

We only forage the best wild greens and forest edible's handpicking them in season bringing you all that nature has to offer to enhance your culinary experience.

Since these greens are ONLY available seasonally we also dry them to make them more available to our consumers. Traditionally these greens need to be picked at different times and from select locations to ensure the best flavors.

Seasonally we carry fiddle head ferns, stinging nettle, watercress, Miner's lettuce, lemon balm, wild rose bloom, violet bloom and leaf.

There are many recipes using wild greens and traditional remedies on the internet.
