About Nature's Wild Harvest
At Nature’s Wild Harvest, we believe in providing you with the best of the Northwest. Our mushrooms, berries, and other seasonal products are wild foraged and harvested with expertise. You can be sure that you are getting the perfect and fresh healthy food your family deserves.
We also work with trustworthy local mushroom farms to provide the freshest, naturally grown mushrooms all year long.
Bill Cole, LFE, Lead Foraging Entrepreneur, has spent a lifetime learning the art of gleaning from nature. He has over 30 years experience in identification and foraging wild mushrooms, greens, and berries in the bountiful forests of the Pacific Northwest. He loves to share his knowledge with customers, and is considered a local expert in wild harvesting. If you have been to a farmers market, festival or show in the Pacific NW, you have probably seen Bill at a Nature's Wild Harvest booth. Maybe you have already purchased some fresh wild foods to feed to your family!
Over the years, Bill has developed a system to preserve his harvest for maximum flavor. He uses local honey to make his jams and syrups, and dehydrates and freezes for peak perfection. He believes that we are all a part of nature, and nature should be a part of our lives. Bill is a wild forager who wants to make healthy local living easy for you. You can trust his knowledge and his products.
What is Seasonal and Wild?
Just as in farming, wild edibles have their own natural seasons, and fresh product availability varies based on the weather and environmental conditions. While not every product is always available, there is always a wonderfully colorful and healthy array over the course of the year.

Wild means just that - grown in nature, without human intervention. We have years of study, knowledge, and foraging experience. When you buy your mushrooms or greens from Nature’s Wild Harvest, you can be sure that you are getting the best product from a reliable source.
If you decide to forage or harvest wild forest products on your own, make sure to correctly identify and use appropriately and in proper season. Some products can cause intestinal distress or illness. Always use caution when foraging products on your own.
Caution: Always go harvesting with an experienced forager to help correctly identify mushrooms and wild plants. When in doubt, throw it out!
